The Exeter Art Studios is a large art gallery and working artist space in the heart of the Tamar Valley region. It is run by local artists as a showcase and sales outlet for their work across multiple mediums: painting, drawing, collograph prints, ceramics, collage, sculptures, photography, wearable art, digital art and more.

The Exeter Art Studios, since its beginnings in 2018, has created an environment that brings together artists to form social and artistic networks; where artists can interact personally with visitors from across Tasmania, interstate and overseas; where there is an area for workshops and the learning and sharing of skills; and where, on a daily basis, the pleasure from art is seen to unite community and visitors.

The Exeter Art Studios is open to the public from 10am to 4:00pm Thursday to Sunday, for 6 months every year in November to April at the Exeter Show Hall in the Showgrounds. Closed on Exeter market weekends – contact the Exeter Lions Club for details.

Any artist member of West Tamar Arts Group is encouraged to join and to work alongside other artists in the Studios.
